VALRICO, Florida — Video shows the moment a Florida store clerk remained calm as a robber shoved a gun in her face, fired a shot at the cash register, and threatened her by saying, “the next one’s for you.”
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office posted a video of the armed robbery online. The crime happened last Saturday at a Shell gas station in Valrico.
In the video, the robber screams at the clerk to open the register as he points a gun in her face. She says she can’t.
The robber accuses her of stalling. He then fires a shot at the display case.
The clerk then opens the register.
The robber grabs the cash and walks out, telling her, “Have a good day,” on the way out.
She replies, “You won’t get far.”
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone who knows the identity of the masked gunman to call 813-247-8200.
