A BBC reporter was live on air and forced to take cover when missiles struck in central Kyiv on Monday.
Hugo Bachega was in the middle of a live cross from the Ukrainian capital when the sound of a Russian missile could be heard in the background.
Bachega looked around for the source of the sound, before quickly ducking out of the camera shot to take cover from the explosion.
Bachega was talking about the risk of retaliatory attacks in response to the partial destruction of the only bridge between Russia and the Crimean peninsula — a major supply route for Vladimir Putin's invading forces — when the incident happened.
