A Florida wedding reception turned into a terrifying ordeal when an events venue owner stormed into the celebration and threatened guests with a gun. The incident took place on Thursday night at the Cielo Farms venue in Davie, Florida.
According to reports, the trouble began when Christian Rafart, a 31-year-old worker at the venue, demanded that Jonathan Campo, the wedding DJ, shut down the music. Rafart claimed that he didn't want the police to fine the venue for noise pollution. Despite being told that the DJ was playing the last song of the night, Rafart allegedly reached for the equipment and a scuffle broke out when Campo pushed him away.
The situation escalated when Rafart left the room and returned with a gun, which he pointed at guests while making threats. Witnesses reported that Rafart appeared to be intoxicated at the time.
Fortunately, nobody was injured during the incident and police were called to the scene. Rafart was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill.
