MP Motorsport driver Dilano van't Hoff, 18, has died in the crash.
The tragedy occurred today at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit during the second race of the Formula Regional Championship by Alpine (FRECA) shortly before the start of the 24-hour marathon.
Dilano van 't Hoff died after his car stopped on the track at high speed crashed first Adam Fitzgerald, and then two other pilots. Fitzgerald was seriously injured.
It is reported that in conditions of rain and a strong plume of spray, it was impossible to avoid this accident.
