SPOKANE, Wash. -- New video allegedly shows a shooting that took place in Downtown Spokane on Friday evening.
The livestream posted to YouTube allegedly captures the moments before, during and after a shooting that happened near 2nd Avenue and Division Street around 7:15 p.m. on June 7 over a MAGA 2024 hat.
The video appears to have been filmed from the point of view of a man who confronted multiple people who were yelling at him and pelting him with rocks at the intersection just prior to the shooting.
The man can be heard yelling, "You better drop that rock. That's assault with a weapon. Drop that f---ing rock. Drop the f---ing rock."
Then, two gunshots can be heard in the video.
Later, the camera drops to the ground and what sounds like police arrive at the scene.
The man in the video can be heard saying, "Sorry, I did it in self-defense."
Police have not yet released the name or current condition of the victim.
According to police, 36-year-old Hoyt Webb was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail on Friday for first-degree assault in connection to the shooting.
Webb is being held on a $75,000 bail.
He is expected to appear in Spokane County Court on Monday.
