Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller gave boxing fans something they’ll never forget on Saturday night—because apparently, losing your hairpiece mid-fight is a thing now. The heavyweight slugger was taking on Kingsley Ibeh on the undercard of Teófimo López vs. Shakur Stevenson at Madison Square Garden, and somewhere between punches, sweat, and pure chaos, his wig decided it had had enough.
It all went down late in the second round. Ibeh was raining punches along the ropes when one solid shot snapped Miller’s head back like a bobblehead… and that’s when it happened. His hairpiece lifted right off the front of his head, exposing a bald patch for just a second before folding backward like a failed magic trick. The crowd went from “oh shit” to full-on laughter in a matter of milliseconds.
Most fighters would lose their focus in that situation. Not Big Baby. Somehow, he finished the round with the wig still half-on, then fully embraced the chaos between rounds. In true Barstool fashion, he yanked it off completely, tossed it into the crowd like a championship belt, and strutted back out for Round 3. The man was laughing the whole time, because why not?
The fight itself? Still happened. The refs didn’t stop anything, the punches kept flying, and Miller ultimately eked out a split-decision win, 97-93, 97-93, 94-96. When the final bell rang and his victory was official, Miller celebrated in the ring like the king he is… rubbing the top of his head like, “Yeah, this is me, bald patch and all.”
