NBC Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie acknowledged receiving a message from individuals believed to be responsible for the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie, according to statements that surfaced publicly this week.
In a brief but emotional message, Guthrie confirmed that she and her siblings are aware of the communication and are pleading for their mother’s safe return.
“We received your message and we understand,” Guthrie said, addressing the suspected kidnappers directly.
