An Azerbaijani woman has become the latest victim of an online shopping blunder after her eagerly awaited Temu kitchen delivery turned out to be nothing more than a rolled-up picture, and the internet cannot stop laughing.
The now viral video shows the woman excitedly unboxing what she believed was a full set of pots and pans she had ordered from the budget shopping app. The plain white package, clearly labelled as a Temu delivery, appears innocent enough as she tears it open with anticipation.
Her hands visibly shake as she pulls out the contents, clearly expecting shiny cookware ready for the stove. Instead, she slowly unrolls a large printed poster featuring colourful images of kitchen items — green pots, matching lids and decorative fruit — more suited to wall décor than actual cooking.
The moment the reality sinks in, the footage captures her frozen in disbelief. She stretches the poster wide, stares at it, then holds it up next to her phone screen showing the original app listing, as if hoping the image might magically transform into real cookware.
It does not.
Seconds later, she lets out a piercing scream of frustration that perfectly sums up the experience, sending those watching into fits of laughter. In the background, friends or family can be heard reacting, one person audibly laughing while another covers their face in secondhand embarrassment.
