Airport Security Officer Busted Stealing 300 Bucks From A Passenger's Belongings, Only To Swallow The Money With A Bottle Of Water When The Heat Was On

A security officer at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport is now facing the maximum penalty after getting caught on CCTV doing… something straight out of a movie.
On September 8, 2023, at Terminal 1, a departing Chinese traveler noticed his wallet was open, and $300 in cash was missing after passing through security. At first, nothing seemed out of place—manual inspections of the officers didn’t turn up any evidence.
But when authorities reviewed the footage?
The video reportedly shows a female security screening officer taking three $100 bills and literally swallowing them, washing them down with a bottle of water.
And unfortunately, this isn’t even the first time something like this has happened at MNL airport. In February and March of 2023, other security officers were caught on camera stealing cash and personal items, such as watches, from passengers.
Now, airport authorities are considering a “no pocket policy” for security uniforms, because apparently, people still need a reminder that swallowing someone else’s money is a bad idea.
