Former Olympic Figure Skater, Gabrielle Linehan Is Murdered While Waiting At The Starbucks Drive-Thru By A Career Criminal In St Louis

A former Team USA figure skater was shot and killed Tuesday while sitting in her car at a Starbucks drive-thru in St. Louis, according to police and media reports.
Gabrielle Linehan, 28, was waiting in line at the coffee shop when she was approached by a suspect later identified as Keith Lamon Brown, a career criminal with an extensive criminal history.
According to reporting from the New York Post, surveillance video captured Brown wearing a high visibility vest and helmet as he walked up to Linehan’s vehicle. Police said the suspect ordered Linehan to raise her hands before opening fire.
Linehan was unarmed and inside her car at the time of the shooting, police said.
Authorities have described Brown as a repeat offender with a lengthy rap sheet. Investigators have not indicated that Linehan knew the suspect or that the attack was anything other than a random act of violence.
The shooting occurred in the drive-thru lane of a Starbucks, a location typically associated with routine daily activity rather than violent crime.
Linehan’s death has sparked renewed concern over violent crime in St. Louis, a city that has struggled with persistent public safety challenges in recent years.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting as the community mourns the loss of a former elite athlete whose life was cut short during an ordinary stop for coffee.
