Dude Hires A Tom Cruise Impersonator All For Himself And Things Get Weird

A California TikToker decided the best possible way to get attention online was to hire a Tom Cruise impersonator and invite him into his house, like this was a totally normal Tuesday activity. No prank setup. No plan. Just vibes. Bad ones.

The video opens with the guy welcoming the fake Tom Cruise into his home, and immediately, the impersonator goes full method actor. The man is firing off painfully cheesy one-liners, intense smiles, and unearned confidence like he’s about to rappel down the kitchen counter.

They head inside, and Fake Cruise just stands there in the middle of the room, absolutely motionless, like a video game character waiting for someone to press X. The TikToker then hands him the money for the gig, which somehow makes everything ten times more uncomfortable. Paying a man to stay in character in your living room should be illegal in at least three states.

The TikToker sits on the couch while the impersonator keeps delivering line after line, refusing to break character under any circumstances. At one point, Fake Cruise starts jumping on the bed, which feels less like acting and more like a cry for help.

Then comes the worst part. The two sit next to each other and attempt to have a conversation. The attempt is doing a lot of work here. One guy is talking nonstop like he’s on a press tour, the other is silently staring into the void, realizing this video will exist forever. The awkwardness is so thick you could spread it on toast.

On a side note, the Cruise dude pretty much nails the impersonation. Everything is on point. At least he got a free promotion out of all the awkward moments.
