File this one under things that absolutely sounded better in theory while I was stoned out of my mind.
A video blowing up online shows a guy who decided to permanently solve his beard problems by getting one tattooed directly onto his face, and the result is… brutal. Like, “someone needed to stop him halfway through” brutal.
The clip walks viewers through beard micropigmentation, a cosmetic tattoo process where tiny dots of ink are deposited into the skin to mimic stubble follicles. It’s typically marketed as a solution for guys with alopecia areata, patchy growth, or a beard that just refuses to show up to work. The ink is supposed to fade after three to five years.
That’s the sales pitch, anyway.
What actually happened here looks less like “rugged stubble” and more like someone drew a beard with a dying Sharpie. The dots are harsh, the hairline looks aggressively unnatural, and the overall vibe screams “Snapchat filter glitch, but permanent.”
