You think you’ve seen it all, and then a video like this shows up.
A 12-second clip out of Seattle is going viral, showing an elderly woman walking into Pink Gorilla Games, pulling out a small knife, and apparently deciding, “Yeah, today’s the day I rob a video game store.”
What follows is maybe the least intimidating robbery attempt of all time.
The clerk takes one look at her, processes the situation for about half a second, and instead of panicking, hitting an alarm, or diving for cover, just… starts physically ushering her back out the door like she wandered into the wrong place.
Not aggressively, not violently, just a firm “nope.”
And while doing it, he’s basically telling her to get the hell out like she just tried to cut the line, not commit a crime.
The woman, knife still in hand, doesn’t exactly put up much of a fight either. She just kind of gets guided out of the store, like a confused customer who overstayed their welcome.
Whole thing lasts about 12 seconds, tops.
No chaos, no dramatic showdown, just one guy deciding he’s not dealing with this today and ending the situation immediately.
It’s honestly impressive in the weirdest way.
You’ve got to imagine the clerk clocking in that day thinking it’d be a normal shift, maybe sell a few games, talk about consoles, and instead he ends up speedrunning the calmest robbery shutdown of all time.
And the internet is eating it up, because it’s the perfect mix of bizarre and hilarious.
Not exactly the Ocean’s Eleven level of planning here. More like “I found a knife and had an idea.”
