Baggage Fee Meltdown: Three Women Storm Frontier Gate, Get Entire Plane Cleared and End Up in Handcuffs

Airports are already chaos factories, but somehow Frontier Airlines just gave us a brand new category of meltdown: the “I’m not paying for this bag and I dare you to stop me” strategy.

Three women turned a routine flight out of Miami International Airport into a full-blown scene after allegedly trying to sneak extra carry-ons past the gate and refusing to cough up the fee.

Meet the main characters: Nafisa Dockery, 30, Dionjana Cochran, 21, and Davana Cochran, 26, who were all arrested after what started as a simple “hey, you need to pay for those bags” turned into “let’s storm the gate and see what happens.”

According to authorities, the trio was trying to fly to Philadelphia when airline staff hit them with the classic Frontier move: that’ll be extra. Not one, but two additional carry-on bags needed to be paid for.

Now, most people either pay it, reshuffle their stuff, or reluctantly sacrifice a hoodie to the airport trash can. Not these three.

Instead, things escalated fast.

A verbal argument broke out after staff asked them to step aside and settle up, which is standard procedure unless your game plan is apparently to ignore all rules and hope for the best.

That’s when things allegedly went from zero to “this is definitely going to end in handcuffs.”

Dockery reportedly said, “We don’t have to listen, let’s just go,” which is an all-time bold strategy when you are, in fact, at an airport surrounded by security.

And then… they went for it.

The group allegedly rushed past the gate, entering a restricted area like this was a Fast & Furious airport edition. Spoiler alert: it did not work.

Authorities say deputies had to clear the entire plane before removing the trio after they refused to get off, which is about the fastest way possible to make sure everyone on your flight absolutely hates you forever.

Imagine being buckled in, ready for takeoff, maybe already mentally in Philadelphia, and suddenly you’re getting deplaned because three people didn’t want to pay a baggage fee that’s probably less than what you spent on airport snacks.
