There are a lot of things you expect to see at WrestleMania 42, insane entrances, crowd going nuclear, maybe someone jumping off something they definitely shouldn’t.
What you don’t expect? iShowSpeed actually looking like he belongs in the ring.
But that’s exactly what happened.
Speed pulled up for a six-man tag and didn’t just stand there for a cameo. He was climbing turnbuckles, flying around, working the crowd, and moving like someone who’s been doing this way longer than “internet personality tries wrestling” usually goes.
Teaming up with Logan Paul and Austin Theory against LA Knight and The Usos, the match had all the usual chaos you’d expect, but Speed was right in the middle of it actually contributing.
Dude is legitimately athletic.
The clip going viral shows him hitting quick movements, bouncing off the ropes, and climbing like he’s got springs in his legs. It’s chaotic, it’s raw, but it works. You can’t fake that kind of explosiveness.
Yeah, his team didn’t get the win, but that almost doesn’t matter. This wasn’t about the result, it was about whether he’d look out of place.
He didn’t.
If anything, he looked like someone who thrives in that environment, loud, unpredictable, and feeding off a crowd that’s just as unhinged as he is.
And now we’re in this weird reality where iShowSpeed, certified internet wild card, might actually have a future doing this if he wants to.
