Nothing says romance quite like accidentally igniting yourself during an anniversary cake video for TikTok.
A viral clip making the rounds online shows a young couple celebrating their “Year 2” anniversary with a pink cake, a giant candle shaped like the number two, and about five seconds of happiness before the boyfriend’s hair quickly catches on fire.
The video starts off wholesome enough. The couple is smiling, posing together, leaning in close to the cake like every other social media anniversary post you’ve ever seen. Cute vibes. Soft lighting. Everybody’s in love.
Then our guy gets just a LITTLE too close to the candle.
Suddenly there’s a tiny flame on the side of his head and the entire mood changes from “relationship goals” to “stop drop and roll” in under a second.
The funniest part is how casual the whole thing looks at first. It almost takes your brain a second to register that yes, this man’s hair is absolutely on fire right now.
Thankfully the flame goes out almost immediately and nobody appears hurt, but the internet instantly crowned the clip one of the greatest accidental relationship videos of the year.
