A horrifying crash near the Surrey-Delta border in Canada left a motorcycle hanging high above a busy intersection in a scene witnesses compared to something out of an action movie.
Dramatic video from the aftermath shows the mangled motorcycle suspended from a traffic light pole after the violent collision Saturday afternoon.
According to police, the crash happened shortly before 3 p.m. near the intersection of Scott Road and 72nd Avenue in the 7100-block area close to Surrey and Delta.
Authorities said the accident involved a motorcycle and a sedan.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the crash, where they discovered the motorcycle somehow lodged and dangling above the roadway from the traffic light structure.
The shocking sight quickly drew crowds of stunned motorists and bystanders as video of the wreckage spread online.
Police confirmed the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries but is expected to survive.
The rider was transported to hospital with what officials described as serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the sedan was reportedly unharmed in the crash.
Investigators have not yet publicly disclosed what caused the collision or how the motorcycle became airborne before ending up suspended above the intersection.
The surreal footage has since gone viral online, with many viewers stunned by the sheer force of the impact required to leave the bike hanging from the traffic signal.
