Guy Covered In Bandages Riding A Motorcycle With An IV Still Attached Is The Most 'I Still Gotta Go To Work' Video Ever
25 days ago
Every once in a while, the internet produces a video that instantly makes everybody reevaluate how dramatic they’ve been about their own life.
This is one of those videos.
A viral clip making the rounds online shows a man absolutely covered in bandages, visibly bloodied, with an IV drip still attached to his arm… casually riding a motorcycle through city streets like he’s just heading into another Tuesday shift.
Not sitting in a car. Not in an ambulance. Not resting in a hospital bed.
On a motorcycle.
With the IV bag flapping in the wind like an accessory.
The video appears to come from a Portuguese-speaking Latin American country, and the entire internet has basically had the exact same reaction: “Brother WHAT is happening here?”
Because this guy doesn’t just look slightly injured. He looks like someone who escaped the final scene of an action movie five minutes earlier. Full body bandages. Blood stains. Medical tubing still attached. Yet somehow he’s still upright weaving through traffic like he’s late for a roofing job.
And naturally the internet immediately turned it into the ultimate global work ethic debate.
People online started comparing this guy to office workers in wealthy countries calling out sick because they “need a mental health day after too many Slack notifications.” Meanwhile this dude appears to be one missing organ away from the grave and still somehow clocking in.
Now obviously burnout is real. Nobody actually wants people destroying themselves for work. But the visual contrast here is so absurd that the jokes basically write themselves.
Because if your manager ever says, “I need you to push through adversity,” this video is now the nuclear option.
