In a gesture straight out of a feel-good Hollywood movie, superstar rapper Drake has stunned a single father by surprising him with a brand new Cadillac Escalade worth tens of thousands of dollars.
The Canadian hip-hop icon, 39, flew out to Buffalo, New York, to meet devoted fan NYFlavaaa, known online for his joyful videos of bumping Drake tracks while driving around with his children.
The emotional moment, captured on video and shared widely across social media, shows the overwhelmed dad fighting back tears as he realises his loyalty has been rewarded spectacularly by the '6 God' himself."This mfkr gave me an Escalade," the clearly emotional father can be heard exclaiming in the footage.
NYFlavaaa, a content creator, built a loyal following by regularly filming himself and his kids singing along to Drake's hits during everyday moments like school pick-ups. One particular video of the family vibing to the track 'Janice STFU' from Drake's latest album ICEMAN, caught the attention of the Toronto-born artist.
Drake didn't just send a gift, he showed up in person. The video shows the rapper climbing into the back seat with the man's young daughter and son, laughing, singing, giving thumbs up and playfully interacting as the dad films from the front. At one point, they even pick up the daughter from school in the shiny new SUV.The single father was reportedly left in absolute disbelief, calling the surprise a 'dream come true'.
