Doorbell camera footage shows a youngster casually riding up on a scooter and walking straight into a man's home without permission - only to come face-to-face with the family's dog.

In the clip, the child on a bright green electric scooter approaches the front door of a suburban home. Without knocking, the child opens the door and enters. Moments later, a large dog rushes out, knocking the youngster to the ground as it moves to defend its territory. The child ends up on the ground briefly while the dog stands nearby, with the scooter left behind near the open doorway. The youngster gets back up, apparently unhurt.
