Rifle with bayonet fixed, he high-knees it across the dirt like he's late for a very aggressive Zumba class, then lunges into a dramatic wide stance and stabs a comically oversized burlap sack dummy with pure theatrical flair.
Bayonet drills aren't new, they've been around since the 17th century and persist in many armies today, not because hand-to-hand spear-fighting is common in drone-and-missile warfare, but because they build aggression, confidence, and that "I will end you" mindset.
The high-stepping charge adds flair (and probably works the quads), turning a burlap enemy into an unwilling dance partner.
Still, watching a grown soldier prance and thrust with this level of commitment is pure comedy gold.
