TIGARD, Ore. — In a scene straight out of a Portland lunatic's fever dream, a screaming immigration attorney unleashed a profanity-laced tirade on ICE agents trying to do their jobs, all while claiming her clients with "active asylum applications" were being "kidnapped."
Video of the obnoxious confrontation, which exploded on X Monday, shows Alicia Vial Beesley, a Beaverton-based immigration lawyer who didn't even bother changing out of her gym clothes, storming into an apartment complex parking lot in the Portland suburbs and going full Karen on masked federal officers.
"These guys have active asylum applications! What are you trying to do? They're here legally! Get out!" Beesley bellows, shoving her phone in the agents' faces and getting right up in their personal space despite repeated warnings.
The agents, decked out in tactical gear, showed superhuman restraint as the potty-mouthed mouthpiece repeatedly dropped F-bombs and ordered them off the property."
Get the f**k out of this apartment! Just go, get off the property!" she rants in the clip, which includes her own disclaimer that viewers who dislike the F-word more than "people getting kidnapped" should skip it. One agent warns her to stay an arm's length away or she'll be taken into custody. Her classy reply? "I'm an attorney! Immigration attorney! I don't care!"
Beesley, founder of Vida Legal Services, later bragged about the Dec. 15 incident in Tigard, claiming she rushed over after a client called saying ICE was at their door "lying" about having the right to arrest them. She demanded a warrant and insisted the agents leave, which they eventually did.
