A shocking video showing a woman failing to control her large dog as it snarls and lunges at two men trying to exit an elevator has sparked fury online, with viewers branding her behaviour 'completely unfazed' and 'irresponsible'.
The CCTV footage, which appears to be from an apartment building in Russia based on the signage, shows the dramatic confrontation as a woman in a bright purple sweater enters the lift with her hefty light-coloured dog on a leash.
As two men, one in a white polo shirt and another in a green jacket, are attempting to leave the elevator, the dog erupts into a frenzy. It jumps up excitedly, lunging towards them with its mouth open while its tail wags vigorously. The woman, holding the leash loosely, stands back with a smile on her face and makes little effort to rein in the animal.
In the clip, the man in the white shirt visibly recoils, bending down and appearing startled as the dog barrels towards him.
