A shocking Ring camera video out of Queens has gone viral after showing a woman casually swiping a kid's scooter from a family's porch, all while her own young daughter stood right there taking it in.
The unidentified thief, dressed in a bright blue T-shirt with the word "KINDNESS" splashed across the front in big white letters, is caught on camera in broad daylight lifting the scooter and walking away with it.
Her little girl in a pink outfit is by her side throughout the brazen theft.
The split-screen footage — one angle zooming in on the woman's face as she handles the scooter on the porch, the other showing the wide view of the residential street, makes the whole scene even more outrageous.
The video has already racked up thousands of views and sparked a flood of angry comments blasting the lack of shame and the casual way the theft was committed in front of a child.
It’s the latest example of petty crime caught on doorbell cameras across the city, but this one stands out for the cold-blooded "teaching moment" captured on tape.
No arrests have been reported in connection with the theft, and police have not yet released any information on whether the victim filed a report.
