An opportunistic mutt pulled off the con of the century at a bustling outdoor eatery, flopping dramatically onto the pavement like it had been hit by a bus, only to spring up like a champ the second a juicy morsel hit its chops.
In the now-viral clip blowing up on X, the crafty canine is seen sprawled out pathetically beside a table of diners chowing down on skewers and cold beers. Tail limp, eyes soulful, the pooch looked one breath away from the great kennel in the sky.
Diners, clearly suckers for a sob story with fur, took pity. One guy leaned over with a tasty bite on tongs, and BAM! The “injured” hound snatched the snack, leaped to its feet, and bolted down the street with its tail wagging like a helicopter blade.
