LITTLE EGG HARBOR, N.J. — A twisted New Jersey woman faces a raft of child sex charges after she allegedly sexually assaulted a boy young enough to wear diapers, recorded the depraved act on her phone while laughing, and blasted the footage on Snapchat, authorities said.
Victoria Anne Cranmer, 25, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested Tuesday and slapped with second-degree sexual assault, second-degree manufacturing of child sexual abuse material, third-degree possession of child sexual abuse material, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office.
The nightmare unraveled after Cranmer, who had been crashing with a female roommate, got the boot from the house and returned a gifted iPhone, court documents obtained by NJ.com and other outlets reveal.
Horrified, the roommate started scrolling through the device and stumbled on a stomach-churning 14-second video saved in Snapchat's Memories folder. In it, Cranmer is seen "acting inappropriately" with the tiny boy in a bathroom, laughing as the abuse unfolded, cops said.
Detectives later identified the suspect through her distinctive tattoos visible in the clip, including one on her leg spelling out "boobs," along with lightning bolt and mushroom ink.
Multiple additional videos of Cranmer and the boy in the bathroom were recovered from her phone and Snapchat account. The May 6 incident happened while she was babysitting the child, who is under 13 and young enough to still be in diapers, authorities said.
Cranmer had also been watching her roommate's daughter and another woman's son, prosecutors added.
She was booked into the Ocean County Jail, where she remained held without bail as of Monday.
The case has sparked outrage online, with the video in the original X post compiling Cranmer's own social media selfies, showing her in a car and casual outfits, alongside her stone-faced mugshot, underscoring the shocking double life.
Ocean County authorities continue to investigate.
