When asked if she would want someone who raped a woman out on the street, she replied without hesitation: “My answer is yes, even though that’s a challenging answer to say.”
She went further, stating she is “pretty pro-communism” and supports getting rid of prisons entirely. “The idea of a criminal is like a little bit funny to me,” she said, arguing that the current system of incarceration doesn’t fix people.
In a particularly striking moment, the woman revealed she herself has been raped and that her attacker remains free, yet she still maintains that locking people up is not the solution.
