A scooter rider learned the hard way that even the smallest creatures can pack a punch when a rabbit darted into his path, sending him tumbling to the pavement in a spectacular wipeout caught on camera.
The dramatic first-person footage, shared Thursday, shows the rider cruising along a quiet country road lined with fields and trees as the sun dips low on the horizon. Moments later, chaos erupts. The scooter veers sharply, the rider is thrown clear, and he lands hard on the asphalt while the vehicle skids away.
“The chances of a rabbit kicking you off your scooter are incredibly low… but never zero,” the poster wrote alongside the 33-second clip, which quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views.
In the video, the rider’s gloved hands and camouflage pants are visible as he rolls onto the road, then sits up to survey the damage. The scooter lies nearby amid the rural landscape as the rider checks his hands and stands.
