A quiet drive to a park photoshoot exploded into a Terminator-style knife chase after two vehicles smashed in the woods — and a Tesla owner became the accidental hero.
Dashcam footage circulating Thursday shows a white pickup and a Jeep already wrecked on the side of a wooded road when a man in a green shirt hops the truck bed like liquid metal, blade in hand. Another guy sprints barefoot toward the camera as the chaos spills onto the pavement.
The Tesla driver, a photographer heading to a family shoot, thought he was rolling up on a standard road-rage wreck. Then someone screamed, “he’s got a knife!”What looked like two angry drivers going at it was actually a jealous-ex meltdown. The knifeman was allegedly the former boyfriend of a woman at the scene. He went after one of the men with the blade after the crash.
The photographer unlocked his doors as the victim begged for help. The attacker lunged for the car. The Tesla driver hit reverse, dragging the knifeman a short distance before the victim scrambled inside.
The attacker later tossed the knife into the woods, sat down, and waited for cops. He was arrested minutes later. The victim walked away with eye injuries, cuts, and a bloody mouth.
