RAW FOOTAGE: Flydubai Co-Pilot Allegedly Stabs Captain As Jet Plunges 15,000 Feet, Passengers Hear Screams, See Blood And Storm The Cockpit Before Miracle Landing In Saudi Arabia

Terrifying passenger footage from a Flydubai flight bound for Tel Aviv has laid bare the chaos that unfolded high above the Middle East this morning, as the Boeing 737 MAX suddenly dropped thousands of feet and sent out a hijack alert.

The clip circulating online, filmed through a cabin window, shows the distinctive blue flydubai tail against a hazy coastal cityscape as the aircraft banks and loses height. Passengers later described a far more frightening scene inside: screaming from the front of the plane, the cockpit door forced open, and one of the pilots lying injured with blood visible.

Flight FZ1073 left Dubai International at around 7 am local time carrying roughly 174–180 passengers, many of them Israeli, including children. About two hours in, while flying near the Jordanian-Saudi border, the jet transmitted the general emergency code 7700, then briefly the 7500 code used to signal possible unlawful interference, before switching back. Flight-tracking data showed a steep descent of more than 14,000 feet in a matter of seconds to minutes.

Israeli fighter jets were scrambled. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held urgent consultations. For a tense period, the aircraft even dropped off some public tracking sites. It later landed safely at Tabuk Airport in north-western Saudi Arabia. Flydubai confirmed all passengers were accounted for and said it was working with authorities. A replacement aircraft was arranged to continue the journey to Israel.

Passengers told Israeli media they heard shouts from the cockpit. One woman, Miriam, said a man with a knife had forced a pilot to the floor and there was blood everywhere. Another passenger described Israelis seated near the front rushing forward as the plane began to dive, helping crew overpower the attacker until control was restored. An Israeli dentist on board was reported to have treated the wounded pilot. Some travellers later sang after landing.

Early accounts named a Russian captain and Ukrainian first officer; later reports suggested other nationalities, including an Omani pilot under scrutiny. The airline has not officially identified the crew. Israeli officials said the distress signals followed a physical fight between the two men in the cockpit rather than a hijacking by outsiders. Some Israeli media and officials have raised the possibility that one pilot attempted to take the aircraft down. The motive remains under investigation.

Flydubai issued a brief statement confirming an “incident while en route” and that the plane landed safely in Tabuk. Saudi and Israeli authorities, along with the airline, are examining what happened. Passengers described moments of genuine fear that they would not survive. The rapid altitude loss and emergency codes turned a routine Dubai–Tel Aviv service into an international scare that ended with a safe landing and a second flight home.
