Actor Keegan Allen was left with blood streaming down his face and neck after two masked men pistol-whipped him and stole his Rolex outside a grocery store in West Hollywood late Thursday, according to video he posted online and statements from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The attack occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Oct. 8 in the 8400 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, outside Laurel Supply. Deputies responded to a robbery call and found Allen, 37, who told them two men dressed in black had approached him while he was at his truck in the parking lot. One pointed a silver handgun at him while the other held a knife and demanded his watch and bracelet, authorities said. The suspect with the gun then struck him in the face multiple times before the pair fled in an unknown vehicle.

In graphic video Allen shared on Instagram, he appears dazed in the parking lot with a deep laceration across his forehead and blood covering the side of his face, neck, and hands. “I was just robbed of my watch outside of Laurel Supply,” he says. “These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off.” He added that the men wore masks and that they had threatened to kill him over the watch.

Surveillance footage included in the post shows the confrontation at the rear of Allen’s truck. Two figures in dark clothing approach him; one appears to strike him repeatedly in the head with a handgun while he removes the watch from his wrist. The suspects then run off. Allen later wrote that “West Hollywood is not safe anymore” and noted he believed he had suffered a concussion. He said he received medical attention after the attack.

The sheriff’s department confirmed the victim sustained a laceration to his forehead and was evaluated by Los Angeles County Fire personnel at the scene but was not transported to a hospital. No detailed suspect descriptions were released because the men were masked, and no arrests have been made. Investigators have not identified the vehicle used in the getaway.

Allen, known for his roles on “Pretty Little Liars” and “Walker,” referenced local officials in his post, writing that he hoped cameras in the area would help identify the suspects. The incident adds to a series of high-profile robberies and assaults reported in West Hollywood and surrounding Los Angeles neighborhoods, where residents and business owners have repeatedly raised concerns about property crime and street violence.

Sheriff’s officials said the investigation remains open. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
