A small-time Kick streamer who rolled into a Brockton, Massachusetts, neighborhood handing out fried chicken for clicks got beaten, robbed of his phone, and left learning the hard way that the internet and the street are two different places.
Onyxdenji, a Boston-based IRL streamer with a modest following, showed up on the sidewalk near a stone wall and parked SUVs with a box of chicken and a camera rolling. The clip, which has racked up millions of views across X and Worldstar, captures him repeatedly approaching men on the block, offering food in a tone that quickly shifted from awkward to confrontational.
“Sup gangy? You want some food?” he asks one man, who immediately tells him to get out of the area. Instead of leaving, Onyxdenji presses. He asks about hot sauce, tells people to say thank you, and keeps filming while locals repeatedly order him to “get out of the hood.” At one point he claims he’s just trying to help. The men on the sidewalk are having none of it.
According to circulating footage and reports, the tension spiked when Onyxdenji allegedly directed a racial slur at one of the men. The situation turned physical near the wall and parked cars. He was struck multiple times, a bottle was involved in the scuffle, and his phone was taken. In the aftermath, the streamer can be heard threatening to call the police, telling the other man he just punched him in the chin and could get him arrested, a threat that only seemed to further enrage the people he had been filming.
Viewers online quickly identified the stunt as classic “nuisance streaming,” the same brand of provocative IRL content associated with figures like ChudTheBuilder, where streamers deliberately enter certain neighborhoods, push racial or social buttons, and film the resulting blowback for engagement. Onyxdenji had done similar food giveaways in the area before, but this time the chicken and the camera didn’t buy him any goodwill.
The roughly seven-minute clip shows the full awkward-to-violent progression: the streamer in a green hoodie and glasses walking the block, people telling him to leave, chicken ending up on the ground or kicked around, and the eventual beatdown. No police reports or arrests have been widely confirmed, and Onyxdenji has not issued a detailed public response. The video continues to spread, with most commenters treating the outcome as predictable rather than shocking.
In the end, the streamer got the content he was hunting for, just not the version he was hoping to edit and post.
