UK: Dramatic CCTV footage captured the moment a lone gunman fired shots at a worker on the yard of a Merseyside garage. The astonishing footage shows the attacker casually driving towards the garage in Birkenhead on a quad bike before he enters the forecourt. He strides towards his target and fires but incredibly appears to miss -- despite being just yards away from his victim. He then moves forward and 'pistol whips' the worker with his weapon. The worker then dashes around the yard to escape the gunman who then returns to his vehicle and makes his escape. Staff at the garage said the man fired three shots in the forecourt, to the side of the building, although only two casings had been recovered by police. The garage worker, in his 20s, suffered minor injuries to his ear in the attack. A 27-year-old man from Birkenhead was arrested by Merseyside Police on Wednesday night on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and assault. He was taken to a police station where he is being questioned by detectives.
