On Halloween morning, WGN’s weather forecaster brought on Charlie Hale, a second grader from Mount Carmel Academy, to deliver what can only be described as the most charismatic weather report delivered by a second grader, ever. “I want to be a police man because I like danger,” he told the weatherman. “But I’d also like to be a millionaire. And I kinda want to be a soccer player, like I am right now.” He then burst into a dance and said hello to his teachers, before “getting down to business” of reporting the weather. According to The Concourse, WGN traditionally brings a kid to tape the morning shows, and this one should be ranked #1 out of every child that ever was born, or shall be born.
