Video shows cars were piled up by torrents and vendor booths blown away by gales on June 16, 2016, in Liuzhou, South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Liuzhou Flood Prevention Office has warned a coming peak water level of 84 meters in rivers that wind across Liuzhou at around 16:00 Thursday- 1.5 meters higher than alarm water level. The corresponding flow rate would reach 17,100 cubic meters per second. By then, the lowlands of the city will be submerged, and the floods are expected to continue their way deeper into the urban areas.
