British F4 racing driver Billy Monger, 17, suffered leg injuries after being involved in a horrific crash during a race at Donington Park on Sunday.
Footage of the crash from Monger's dashboard camera - which was broadcasting live on TV at the time of the crash - show his vehicle colliding with another car, driven by Finnish driver Patrik Pasma.
Pasma's car was stopped on the track in front of Monger when the teen slammed into the back of it.
Following the collision, Monger's car was sent spinning as motor sport fans watched the incident unfold in real time.
While Pasma was freed from his car soon after the crash, Monger was stuck in the vehicle for 90 minutes as ambulances arrived on scene.
He was eventually extracted from the car at 2.30pm and was taken to hospital by air ambulance.
Footage of the crash was aired on ITV, and broadcaster ITV4 later confirmed that Monger was conscious and being attended to. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
Pasma's team, Carlin Racing, posted on Facebook: 'Following an incident in race three of the Formula Four British Championship at Donington Park this afternoon, Carlin driver Patrik Pasma was taken to the on-site Medical Centre for assessment.
