A horrifying video has emerged of a gunman walk up to a car and ruthlessly shoot another man to death.
The gunman, wearing a red top with the hood pulled up to conceal his identity, can be seen walking calmly to the car before murdering his victim at 6.30pm on Friday.
26-year-old Terrell Ortiz, was parked in a white Nissan Altima on a street in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, when he was repeatedly shot in the leg and chest at close range.
He was pronounced dead a short time later after he was rushed to Woodhull Hospital.
The deceased man's family said that they do not know why anyone would kill him.
His uncle William Mendez told the New York Daily News: 'He was starting to do good things for himself and it's unfortunate that someone had it out for him.
'If I had known who he is, I probably go kill him, or turn him in to the police.
'He's going to be gone for the rest of his life because they're going to put him in prison - and was it worth it?'
No arrests have been made so far and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are currently looking for a heavy-set Hispanic male in his 20’s in connection with the deadly shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
