One man is dead and residents have been evacuated after a speeding car smashed through railings into the basement of a multi-million pound mansion in Kensington as witnesses described hearing a trapped passenger screaming for two hours.
Dramatic footage shows the front of the vehicle sticking out of the ground in the affluent area while debris is littered across the road which has been cordoned off for the rest of today.
The car smashed through railings just after 3am this morning before ramming into the building - which has completely cracked the brick work, causing the entire block to be evacuated amid fears of a collapse.
Two brothers were said to have been trapped in the car, one managed to free himself from the wreckage but another was stuck inside the car for two hours.
Speaking to MailOnline at the scene this afternoon, distressed residents told how they heard his screams of pain for hours as he was crushed in the car as his helpless sibling looked on.
Bianca Simpson, 45, said: 'One was hysterically crying and screaming, saying, "That's my brother in there, that's my brother."'
