Two people 'injected drugs in front of children' as they waited for a bus nearby.
MJ Reed was on his way to work in Cardiff Bay when he saw a man and a woman appearing to inject themselves.
The 38-year-old confronted the pair, after realising they were in view of a mother and a child nearby.
He spoke to them, filming the exchange on his phone as he begged with them not to use as children walked by, reports WalesOnline .
He says to them: “This is not fair on people. I can see you have problem, I understand you. Please brother.”
The man and the woman appear to say they were not doing it in front of children but Mr Reed gestures to what he said were children nearby, pointing out some at a bus stop.
He said: “It was the fact it was so open and done in front of children. My thing is that it was the fifth time I had seen it in the last few months. Two times it was in front of my one-year-old.”
Mr Reed , who posted the footage on his YouTube channel, said he had sympathy with the plight of the two people and says more needs to be done to deal with the problem.
He said: “I wasn’t angry but I was trying to let someone know their worth. I don’t preach to people I am just trying to tell them that the are worth more than a bag of heroin.
“I have witnessed the effects of drugs on my friends and don’t think people should talk about addiction unless they have seen it first hand.
