At least 13 people were killed troops were sent in to stop violence taking over a prison in Mexico.
A protest by inmates spiralled out of control when one prisoner was killed and a number of guards were taken hostage inside the Cadereyta prison, outside the city of Monterrey.
Police were originally sent in to calm the violence but the violence soon escalated with more than 250 people involved.
Security forces were then sent in and resulted in the deaths of 13 people.
It is not clear if the 13 were prisoners, prison guards, police or troops, or a mixture of all four.
