A teenager has died after plunging from the seventh floor of a tower block after his girlfriend desperately tried to help him back to safety.
An excruciating video of Vitaly Dudet, 19, clinging on by his fingers at the window shows his 18-year-old girlfriend desperately trying to grapple him back inside.
Eyewitnesses said Mr Dudet had initially dangled his legs out of the window while the couple quarrelled.
Then he turned and lowered himself to cling to the ledge of the workers' hostel block in Kemerovo, Siberia, presumably thinking he could pull himself up again.
The video shows him repeatedly trying to climb back in with an increasing state of distress.
His girlfriend did not realise at first that he was hanging by his fingertips but when she saw in horror she called for help - but it was too late.
After two and a half minutes the man fell to his death.
