A fire broke out in an eight-storey fitness centre in the South Korean city of Jecheon, killing 23 people and injuring 24.
The fire on Thursday started in a vehicle parked in a basement car park of the building before spreading.
Pictures posted on Twitter show the raging blaze ripping through the upper floors on the building.
Some victims became trapped in the sauna on the second floor, according to reports.
Around 500 fire engines, 14 ambulances and three helicopters were sent to the scene to tackle the devastating blaze.
Thick smoke could be seen up to 100 miles away as it rose over the city.
