A Tour de Yorkshire volunteer narrowly avoided a horrific clash with an out of control car during the final stage of the cycling race in Leeds.
The Team Astana vehicle crashed through the central reservation, closely missing the man who was stood in the road in his hi-vis jacket.
Onlookers were left stunned at the incident which occurred on the fourth and final day of the Tour in Leeds.
Volunteer Phillip Sullivan was stood on the traffic island waving a luminous flag when he was forced to dive out of the way of the oncoming vehicle.
Footage shows the peloton approaching before a number of cars pass Sullivan without any issues.
