A newborn baby left for dead was rescued by a group of men who discovered the child buried in a pile of rubbish.
The rescuers were stunned as they tore through plastic bags only to find a child who was still moving but not crying.
Within minutes the baby was whisked off for urgent medical treatment. Footage of the discovery has been circulated on social media.
The men were speaking Pidgin French according to internet users who commented on the clip, a language used in parts of West Africa.
