A tiger, on a chain-link lead, sits on a podium in the entrance hall.
Just around the corner, past the ice cream stall and next to the confectionary counter, a bear is being forced to dance.
Then there is the leopard, iguana, monkeys, raccoon and even a kangaroo.
These animals forced to sit in the concourse as screeching, excited children begged their parents to pay to have the photos taken with them.
It was shocking beyond belief.
And this was before the “show” had even started.
While in Britain and across many countries in the world the use of big cats is being phased out that’s not the case here in Moscow.
Barely a mile from Red Square people queued up to pay 2000 rubles (£24) to watch the shameful show.
