Laughing mob throws exploding firecrackers at police officers while they try to arrest suspect

Police officers arresting a man were attacked with firecrackers while people looked on and cheered.



At least two bangers went off just a few feet away from the unsuspecting officers, who were seen in panic attempting to cover their ears.



The attack came just a day after four officers were injured responding to a call in Islington, London, which left two policemen with stab wounds, a policewomen with a serious head injury and another with a possible fractured wrist.



This firecrackers incident in Bradford, West Yorkshire, was filmed in the Holme Wood estate, with a jeering crowd appearing to enjoy tormenting the police.



Footage, recorded by Reece Dulay and later uploaded to Facebook, begins with smoke billowing close to a fence.
