Three people have been injured in a huge explosion at one of the University of Lyon's campuses in France.
Loud bangs echoed across the city and flames and thick black smoke can be seen billowing from the Mendel building on the La Doua campus in Villeurbanne.
The fire started in the roof of the building, which was being renovated, before gas cylinders stored there exploded.
Several explosions were heard just before 9am (8am UK time) and captured on camera. At least three have been hurt, according to the university.
People are being urged to avoid the area while many are being evacuated, although the university has since said the fire is "under control."
