Dashcam footage shows a dramatic 100mph police chase through Belfast as the fleeing driver almost hits a pedestrian and an ambulance.
Driver Stephen McKeag mounted footpaths, drove through red lights and forced traffic to swerve out the way during the chase.
The incident happened last October, with McKeag, from Newtownards, County Down, Northern Ireland, jailed for ten months in June after pleading guilty to charges of dangerous driving and driving without insurance.
But officers for Police Service Northern Ireland released the footage yesterday as a warning to the public about stopping when asked by police.
He was finally snared when he drove into a narrow street and got momentarily stuck between two cars, giving police time to box him in, reports Belfast Live.
