A woman died after being hit by the International Empress 2816 steam train , as it passed through the Aragón station, in the municipality of Nopala de Villagrán , this Tuesday, June 4.
Based on police information and with a video that recorded the moment of the tragedy, dozens of people gathered to see the passing of the locomotive and practically everyone took videos and photographs, however, the now deceased woman was seen approaching as much as he could to the tracks .
No one stopped her and apparently no one saw danger in that act, but when she was about to press her cell phone for the photograph, the train hit her with one of its many tons of metal directly in the back of the head.
The woman immediately fell with her body facing forward, while her companions approached to lift her up. She died in seconds, there was not even a chance for her rescue teams to evaluate her.
A young man, desperate, asked for help while people urgently requested an ambulance . The police evacuated people so that forensic personnel could take charge of the events that shocked those present.
Those in charge of security at the site had warned attendees about the importance of staying at a safe distance, but people, carried away by the moment of seeing a historic train pass by, omitted all preventive suggestions and that attracted serious consequences.
