Women are now sterilizing themselves after Donald Trump's election, say it's their "only option."
Women are avoiding future abortions thanks to Trump's election because they believe in things like Project 2025 and other conspiracy theories.
Newsweek spoke with multiple women who have had their fallopian tubes removed in the past several weeks.
One woman said she got the surgery because of a viral video from Nick Fuentes.
"If I am to be denied any rights in the next four (or more) years, I will not give them up without a fight," woman 1 said.
"I am not happy that I felt forced into a surgery I did not want to alter my body, I feel like the election tied my hands and forced me to be sterilized—that is horrible," woman 2 said.
"I refuse to be a person that ends up not being able to get medical care just because I own a uterus with some cells growing in it," woman 3 said.
"The only way I would get pregnant is if I were raped, and I refuse to be forced to carry the result of a man's violence against my will."
"For me it was a call to action, a need to get this locked in so I don't have to live in fear that at any moment some random guy can completely destroy my life. For me, the idea of getting pregnant is worse than death. I'm doing what I can to protect my right to choose. I am choosing me," woman 4 said, who cited Fuentes.
